Headway Suffolk move of premises in Bury St Edmunds
St Edmunds Trust kindly granted Headway Suffolk £5,030 in January 2015. This was to help the brain injury charity with meeting the costs of adaptations to new and more suitable premises identified in Olding Road in Bury St Edmunds.
The works included installation of handrails on steps and on the accessible ramp at the entrance to the building to assist those clients with mobility and balance difficulties impaired as a result of their brain injury or neurological condition.
The grant also paid for four magnetic fire doors to meet with health and safety regulations and to enable more accessibility and independence for clients navigating within the premises.
